We are from the Middle East, speak Middle Eastern languages, and are in everyday contact with the people and institutions in the region. However, we have studied at Western universities. We are conducting academic research in the social sciences, always keeping our region in mind and seeking remedies for its pains. At the same time, we are familiar with public concerns in the West, cultural conflicts, migrant crises, and their impact on the societies and politics of host countries. We think, act, advise, project, and fight for democratic developments in the Middle East to achieve a win-win outcome for the region and the rest of the world.

The Middle East Institute for Democratic Developments, MEIDD, provides plans, projects, and consultancy services to the public and private sectors at all local, national, regional and international levels. We dare to go beyond advice and analysis by planning and projecting for Middle Eastern development, aiming to improve the region across its political, economic, social, and cultural fields. We think of an unthinkable task: making the Middle East democratic, progressive and stable.
