As mentioned in the section on Continuity, the Middle East is experiencing many ongoing conflicts between various state and non-state actors. Its conditions are unstable, and its future is uncertain, particularly regarding human and environmental crises.
All these catastrophic circumstances not only might persist for years and decades, but can worsen over time. In this section, the elements of negative changes and worsening the situations will be discussed. Additionally, records of increasing well-rooted problems and the emergence of new crises in the region will be maintained to demonstrate the development process of existing challenges and the reasons for new crises.
